In general, a 5km walk can be finished in 1 hour and a 10km walk can be completed in 2 hours.

Richmond - Central Richmond - Minoru Park/Middle Arm Dyke


February 11, 2024

Come Walk With Us and explore Minoru Park (very nice park) and some quiet residential neighbourhoods on our way to the Middle Arm Dyke system that protects the city of Richmond. This part of the dyke pathway is amazing, looking over to the airport, watching planes leave and arrive, very often getting to see row boats, dragon boats or sculls in the Fraser River, walking past the Richmond Oval, and the UBC Boathouse which is a fully floating facility. Lots to see on this walk. This is one of 11 walks in our “Explore Richmond” series.

Vancouver - Kitsilano/West Point Grey - Spanish Banks & University Endowment Lands

Walk along the Spanish Banks beaches and Admiralty Trail in Pacific Spirit Regional Park - from Locarno to Acadia. Then explore parts of the University of BC campus and the University Endowment Lands with historical landmarks & mansions. Throughout the walk, there are beautiful views of Vancouver and the North Shore mountains across English Bay and Burrard Inlet.

Distance: 6/10k

Vancouver - Stanley Park - Seawall East

We will head to Coal Harbour and walk counter-clockwise on the seawall around Stanley Park. The 10/11 km Seawall loop around iconic Stanley Park is a “MUST SEE” and “MUST DO” activity in Vancouver. It is one of our series of 7 walks in Stanley Park. It offers breathtaking views of Vancouver harbour, the city skyline, North Shore Mountains & English Bay. This route goes past famous landmarks and heritage features such as First Nations Totem Poles, Brockton Point & Prospect Point Lighthouses, Siwash Rock. There are beaches, rock cliffs and coastal forests of majestic cedar, hemlock and fir trees. You will see popular west coast wildlife, including marine life: squirrels, raccoons, skunks, coyotes, herons, eagles, seals and otters.

Distance: 5/10/11k

Washrooms available at Start/Finish and in park.

Start Location: Meet in the Devonian Harbour Park behind the bus stop on West Georgia St.

Vancouver - Shaughnessy - Kensington Queen Elizabeth Park


February 17, 2024

Register at Start Point & drive to 5175 Dumfries St (Kensington Community Centre). Walk through residential East Vancouver & then the trails & pathways in Queen Elizabeth Park. Enjoy the quarry garden, arboretum & public art. Return via Nat Bailey Stadium, Riley Park and passing Mountain View Cemetery. The 5k walk will not go to Queen Elizabeth Park.

Distance: 10k
