September 10, 2024Steveston Rocks (WALKS)!!! This walk really has everything and is worth the effort to get to Steveston. A must see. Come Walk With Us and see this interesting little village, see some fantastic museums that you will want to explore further when you have the time and walk part of the 35 km of dykes that are in Richmond. This is one of 11 walks in our “Explore Richmond” series.
Meet in the parking lot across the street from the community centre.

Vancouver - Stanley Park - Aquarium - Hollow Tree

September 12, 2024Part Seawall starting from Coal Harbour, and trails up to Prospect Point and along trails with old trees, including the Hollow Tree, a Vancouver Heritage. This walk will also take us to the Vancouver Aquarium - check out the old bear pit and the Killer Whale sculpture by the famous Bill Reid.
There are two 5K route options: (i) walk mostly on the east side of the Seawall and back via the Rose Garden (ii) walk on trails to Beaver Lake, the Aquarium and back via the Seawall.

Start Location: Meet in the sitting area of Devonian Harbour Park, 1929 W Gerogia St (NW corner of Denman & W Georgia - behind the bus stop).

Vancouver - Kitsilano/West Point Grey - Spanish Banks & University Endowment Lands

September 14, 2024Walk along the Spanish Banks beaches and Admiralty Trail in Pacific Spirit Regional Park - from Locarno to Acadia. Then explore parts of the University of BC campus and the University Endowment Lands with historical landmarks & mansions. Throughout the walk, there are beautiful views of Vancouver and the North Shore mountains across English Bay and Burrard Inlet.
