Walk by Jericho Garrison, Trimble Park and then into Pacific Spirit Regional Park. Continue along Spanish Banks, Locarno Beach and then into Jericho Beach Park. There are two 5K route options: (i) walk mostly on the east side of the Seawall and back via the Rose Garden (ii) walk on trails to Beaver Lake, the Aquarium and back via the Seawall. Distance: 5/10k Trail Rating: 1A/2B Start Location: Meet in the sitting area of Devonian Harbour Park, 1929 W Georgia St (NW corner of Denman & W Georgia - behind the bus stop). *** Registration starts 30 minutes prior to start time. April 18, 2024(1 event) Richmond - Steveston - Railway Greenway & DykesRichmond - Steveston - Railway Greenway & Dykes – Steveston Rocks (WALKS)!!! Follow part of the old railway route that has been converted to walking paths. We pass the very historic home of one of the original Steveston pioneers and then head back to the West Dyke. The variety of birds that you will get to see while walking on the dykes is amazing. This walk ends by walking back through the village and along the boardwalk by the marina. This is one of 11 walks in our “Explore Richmond” series. Distance: 5/10k Trail Rating: 1B *** Registration starts 30 minutes prior to start time. Squint Lake Park is located in the northeastern section of the city of Burnaby. It’s an interesting mixture of a suburban park and the original forested habitat in the area. The park contains trails bordered by forest and a creek that enters a small lake (Squint Lake).
