March 24, 2024(1 event) North Vancouver - Lynn Canyon ParkNorth Vancouver - Lynn Canyon Park – This spring walk will explore the trails in Lynn Canyon’s second-growth forest, as well as the suspension bridge and Twin Falls Bridge. We will walk around Rice Lake in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve, then onto the connector to Lynn Headwaters Regional Park. You will be surrounded by nature – creeks, lake, pools, waterfalls, forests, wildlife and lots more! Distance: 6K/10K Trail Rating: 2B/3C The start point is Kilmer Park, 1700 Dempsey Rd. We will meet in the parking lot. NOTES: *** Registration starts 30 minutes prior to start time. March 26, 2024(1 event) Richmond - Steveston - South DykeRichmond - Steveston - South Dyke – Steveston Rocks (WALKS)!!! This walk really has everything and is worth the effort to get to Steveston. A must see. Come Walk With Us and see this interesting little village, see some fantastic museums that you will want to explore further when you have the time and walk part of the 35 km of dykes that are in Richmond. This is one of 11 walks in our “Explore Richmond” series. Meet in the parking lot across the street from the community centre. March 30, 2024(1 event) Port Moody - Rocky PointPort Moody - Rocky Point – Description: PT 177 - We're delighted to join our friends from Surrey Trekkers today for a walk at Rocky Point in Port Moody. The routes offer options of 5k, 6k, and 10k, mostly along Shoreline Trail, as well as through residential streets around Burrard Inlet. Restrooms are conveniently available at the Start/Finish line, along the route in Rocky Point Park, and beside Old Orchard Park. Situated along the picturesque shores of Burrard Inlet, Rocky Point Park in Port Moody stands out as one of the most breathtaking parks in the lower mainland. The Shoreline Trail presents an effortless walking experience, winding around the easternmost stretch of Burrard Inlet, taking in the views from the pier at Rocky Point Park and wandering through Old Orchard Park.
