In general, a 5km walk can be finished in 1 hour and a 10km walk can be completed in 2 hours.

Walk starts from Goldsworthy Pier, walk along the Spirit Trail by the scenic waterfront with beautiful floating homes. We then head north and follow Mosquito Creek and the Trans Canada Trail through forested areas uphill to Montroyal underpass and then retrace our steps to go back. Enjoy this walk with a mix of boardwalks, nature and urban trails. The 6k route will go until Hwy #1 underpass. If taking the Seabus, the Waterfront Park Dock with the gazebo is located 2 blocks west. of the Lonsdale Quay Seabus. If driving, the gazebo/dock/pier is at the back of Waterfront Park in the 200 block of West Esplanade. *** Registration starts 30 minutes prior to start time. Walk goes through residential areas and Memorial South Park. We will also walk through Mountain View Cemetery (“Where Vancouver Remembers”) - opened in 1886. Some famous Canadians are buried here. We will see the main part of the cemetery and the Jewish, Japanese and Chinese parts of the cemetery. For the 10K, there is an option to walk outside of the cemetery.
