This walk takes you to Port Washington where the first Government Wharf was build in 1891. Those doing the 11K will continue through beautiful, forested roads to Hope Bay and return through more quiet roads.

Start Location: Otter Bay Ferry Terminal, 1371 MacKinnon Road, Pender Island, BC  Take the ferry from Tsawwassen to Pender Island - Otter Bay and return to Tsawwassen the same day.  Walk starts from Otter Bay - no car needed. This is mid-week, so free for BC residents over the age of 65. Ferry schedule: Leave Tsawwassen 9:55 am; arrive Otter Bay 12:00 noon. Leave Otter Bay 4:25 pm; arrive Tsawwassen 6:40 pm. Ferry reservations recommended. If you are driving, the start location is the Pender Island Golf Club, 2305 Otter Bay Road.

*** Registration starts 30 minutes prior to start time. All walkers must register no later than 5 minutes prior to start time. ***

There is currently no restaurant at the Pender Island Golf Club. Please bring your own lunch and drinks.
