The Victoria Pathfinders have invited us to join them for a walk featuring historic downtown Victoria, the Gorge Waterway, and the Songhees. On this scenic walk both the five and 10km walkers will see Bastion Square, the Johnson Street Bridge, Point Hope Shipyards, and the Songhees Walkway. The 10km walkers will also see the Gorge Waterway and the Selkirk Trestle.
Date: Monday, July 8. Walk will start at 11:15 AM
Start Point: Ship Point, bottom of Courtney Street, Downtown Victoria
Lunch: Steamship Grill & Bar at 1:30 pm. Cost for lunch is $31 and includes a choice of two starters and four different entrees with a vegan option (choose at the restaurant.) The price also includes tea or coffee, taxes and 16% gratuity. Other beverages are not included.

8:00 am Catch ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay
9:35 am Arrive at Swartz Bay
9:55 am Catch bus #70 from Swartz Bay to Douglas at Courtney Street
10:46 am From bus stop, walk back 50 metres on Douglas Street, turn left onto Courtney Street and walk towards the water and Wharf Street. Cross Wharf Street at the crosswalk, turn left and walk down a paved ramp to Ship Point. (We will meet the bus and escort you to the walk start.)
3:39 pm Catch bus #70 from Government at Superior (BC Legislature) to Swartz Bay. (We will escort you back to the bus.)
4:41 pm Arrive at Swartz Bay
5:00 pm Catch ferry from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen
6:35 pm Arrive at Tsawwassen
By Car: Approximately two-hour drive from Nanaimo. Pay parking at Ship Point. 812 Wharf Street.
