15 South Delta - Boundary Bay Regional Park 10:00 am – 1:00 pm Sunday, September 15, 2024 This walk, for years a favourite of many members, has been completely redone. While keeping both the beach views and the "Secret Garden", the 10 K and 6 K walks now include a whole new neighborhood, two historic buildings and an additional garden showpiece. Join us as we tour the "Earthwise Organic Garden", both the historic Cammidge and Gunn houses, as well as the brand new "Southlands" neighborhood! The "Southlands" incorporates the newest principles of urban planning and is very picturesque. Right next door is the charming historical "cottage" neighborhood of Boundary Bay where we meander down "Pug Lane". You won't want to miss this walk; especially with the addition of the "Moving Waters" program! Distances: 6K/10K Trail Rating: 1B *** Registration starts 30 minutes prior to start time. All walkers must register no later than 5 minutes prior to start time. *** Immediately following the walk, join some of your fellow walkers for lunch at a nearby eatery.
