Directions to the Start Point: By car: Take Highway 1 westbound to Horseshoe Bay Village. Pay Parking. By transit: From downtown Vancouver, bus #250 or #257 (Horseshoe Bay) to ferry terminal.

Ferry Departure Time from Horseshoe Bay: 10:15 am. It's a 20-minute ferry ride to Snug Cove. Registration: Starts at 9:45 am in the ferry terminal waiting area and continues on the ferry. Walk Start Time: When ferry arrives at Snug Cove.

Notably, the Forest of the Future Garden was funded by a pair of Volkssporting pioneers. This is one of the most diverse walks offered in South Delta. The neighborhoods include: Seaside (built 2020), Tsawwassen Springs (built 2010 to 2020), Imperial Village (1990’s), Candlewyck (1970’S/80’s). The Tsatsu rookery is particularly active between February and May each year. This walk also features a small walkway adjacent to an organic farm and some bee hives. Check out the crops on offer this year (usually potatoes or cabbages) but beware of manure smells in May – it is “organic” after all! Note: There are two 5K routes. " South Delta Recreation Centre 1720 - 56 Street Tsawwassen, BC V4L 2B1 Map	8	9 Vancouver - Stanley Park - The Best of Stanley Park Trails 10:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturday, August 9, 2025 Description: Most of this walk is on trails inside Stanley Park. You will see breathtaking views of Vancouver harbour, city skyline, North Shore Mountains and passing famous landmarks and heritage features. The walk begins with Lord Stanley welcoming you into the Park. Continue on to the old Polar Bear Den, Aquarium, Brockton Oval, Totem Poles, then onto the Seawall for a short distance. Up the trails to Prospect Point and down to the Siwash Rock Viewpoint on another trail above the cliff, parallel to the seawall below. See the Siwash Rock from the top, instead of at sea level. More trails to Ferguson Point and Teahouse Restaurant (lunch here if you wish). Finally, enjoy the trail along Lost Lagoon. Watch for the wildlife, including marine life, throughout your walk.
