We will walk along the Coal Harbour waterfront from the Convention Centre into Stanley Park where you will be welcomed by Lord Stanley. Walk through the Rose Garden. Then to the north side of Lost Lagoon. Check out the Rhododendron Garden and the Blue Heron Colony, one of the largest urban colony in North America. Pass English Bay and the Inukshuk. Finish with a heritage walk in the West End.

This walk includes 4 Tsawwassen Neighborhoods, First Nations land, and the largest blue heron rookery in B.C. The neighborhoods include: Seaside (built 2020), Tsawwassen Springs (built 2010 to 2020), Imperial Village (1990’s), Candlewyck (1970’S/80’s). The Tsatsu rookery is particularly active between February and May each year. This walk also features a small walkway adjacent to an organic farm and some bee hives. Check out the crops on offer this year (usually potatoes or cabbages) but beware of manure smells in May – it is “organic” after all!
Note: There are two 5K routes. (i) Starts at the South Delta Recreation Centre - does not go to the rookery (ii) Register at the South Delta Recreation Centre, then drive to Pat Quinn's. Walk starts at Pat Quinn's Restaurant & Bar, 5133 Springs Blvd #100 - goes to the rookery.

We will head to Coal Harbour and walk counter-clockwise on the seawall around Stanley Park. The 10/11 km Seawall loop around iconic Stanley Park is a “MUST SEE” and “MUST DO” activity in Vancouver. It is one of our series of 7 walks in Stanley Park. It offers breathtaking views of Vancouver harbour, the city skyline, North Shore Mountains & English Bay. This route goes past famous landmarks and heritage features such as First Nations Totem Poles, Brockton Point & Prospect Point Lighthouses, Siwash Rock. There are beaches, rock cliffs and coastal forests of majestic cedar, hemlock and fir trees. You will see popular west coast wildlife, including marine life: squirrels, raccoons, skunks, coyotes, herons, eagles, seals and otters.

Spirit Trail East – Lynn Creek : Walk the Spirit Trail east of Lonsdale Quay that will take you to Moodyville Park and Park & Tilford Gardens, onwards to a trail along Lynn Creek to Bridgman Park, then to Sunrise Park. Besides admiring the nature around you, take in the spectacular view of Vancouver city across Burrard Inlet as you pass Lonsdale Quay and the Shipyards. A moderate uphill walk, with some steep sections, along urban trails and gravel paths, to the mountain via Burnaby Mountain Urban Trail, the Gnome's Home and Pandora Trails. Find those gnomes! A reward waiting for you at the top - enjoy the panoramic views of downtown Vancouver, the North Shore mountains, Deep Cove and Indian Arm and the garden when the roses are blooming. Going downhill to the start point will be a breeze.

This is a really interesting walk. The first 5K that we all walk together and is completely beside the Burrard Inlet with views over Deep Cove that are without equal. Part 2 - 5K will get your heart pumping. A beautiful forest walk that is uphill to the Harry Jerome Velodrome and then back. If you are looking for a walk that has views, water, forest trails and some hills that will make you proud you accomplished this, then this is a perfect walk. Join us for this one.

This walk has everything. Walk by the Bayshore West Marina to Lost Lagoon, through old growth forests, exiting the forest trails to world class views from Prospect Point. Crossing the Lions Gate bridge we are rewarded with spectacular views both to the west and to the east. Walking back into Stanley Park travel down to the Seawall then up the Ravine Trail to Beaver Lake and finally under the causeway at Lost Lagoon, and back to the City.
