Heading towards Waterfront Rd., we will get a view of the busy Port of Vancouver and pass the SeaBus Terminal and Vancouver Convention Centre. Return to Downtown along the Seawall.. Distance: 10k. Come Walk With Us and explore Minoru Park (very nice park) and some quiet residential neighbourhoods on our way to the Middle Arm Dyke system that protects the city of Richmond. This part of the dyke pathway is amazing, looking over to the airport, watching planes leave and arrive, very often getting to see row boats, dragon boats or sculls in the Fraser River, walking past the Richmond Oval, and the UBC Boathouse which is a fully floating facility. Thursday, December 11, 2025 Come to Ladner and experience the residential, historical, and community infrastructures of this small community. You will pass by a hospital, community centre, firehall and last but not least, an active Augustinian monastery. Historic structures include the Harris Barn and Kirkland House. Notably, the Forest of the Future Garden was funded by a pair of Volkssporting pioneers. This is one of the most diverse walks offered in South Delta. A special evening Christmas Lights walk through Downtown Vancouver. Walk starts with a visit to the LIGHTS OF HOPE at St. Paul’s Hospital. Onwards to Robson Square and down Burrard St to Canada Place. Follow the signs to “CHRISTMAS AT CANADA PLACE” for the Woodward’s windows and Sails of Light. Then up the living green roof to see the CHRISTMAS MARKET at Jack Poole Plaza. Walk along the Seaside Greenway (Seawall), to the beautiful marina in Coal Harbour, passing Westin Bayshore Hotel. Return via Beach Avenue with options to have dinner in the English Bay area. - There is no fee for this walk. There are several places where you can make donations.
- Wear reflective and/or bright clothing and bring a flashlight (so you can read the route instructions).

Tuesday, December 16, 2025 This is a wonderful easy, sometimes breezy, walk along the lower road of Dundarave, West Bay and Altamont neighborhoods. You will encounter beautiful scenery, huge cedars, lovely lavish gardens, quaint tucked-away beaches and architecturally-renowned mansions. Spirit Trail East – Lynn Creek: Walk the Spirit Trail east of Lonsdale Quay that will take you to Moodyville Park and Park & Tilford Gardens, onwards to a trail along Lynn Creek to Bridgman Park, then to Sunrise Park.
